Clackamas 7, SW Oregon 1 – Clackamas got a strong start from Wyatt Barajas (7ip, 1ER, 4K). Brennan Watts (3-4), Jarrod Seibel (1-3, RBI), & Hunter Clayton (1-4, RBI) all scored twice. SWOCC’s Devin Beckstead matched Barajas’s start (7ip, 1ER, 5K) but 3 unearned runs were the difference.
Clackamas 1, SW Oregon 0 – In just his 4th start of the year (9th appearance), Billy Dotson goes complete game shutty, scattering 6 hits while striking out 3. A Liam Kiffer RBI single in the 6th was all that was needed for the Cougars. SWOCC starter Brandon Ochoa wasnt too shabby himself, going 6 while just allowing the 1 run. Dallas McGill stuck out 8 in 3 innings of relief for the Lakers.
Clark 8, Chemeketa 2 – All singles in this one (16 total hits), Nick Laurenza had an RBI single while Trevor Torppa scored twice (2-4, RBI, SB). Kane Kiaunis & Amerson Dix each had 2 hits for Chemeketa.
Clark 16, Chemeketa 9 – Trevor Torppa (Clark) went off in this one going 6-6, 2 runs scored, 2 doubles, and 5 RBI. Almost everyone got in on the offense with 6 players recording multi-hit games. Kane Kiaunis (Chemekekta) went 3-6 with a double and 2 RBI.
Douglas 5, Skagit Valley 1 – Macallister Gatzke for Douglas with the pitching performance of the day. He went 8.1 innings, 1 run allowed, 11 strikeouts for the Royals. Cristian Santarelli (2-4, 2B, RBI) and Darius Opdam Bak (1-3, R, 2B, 2 RBI) led the Douglas O. Kaden Kirshenbaum & Kobe Sandstrom each went 2-4 with a double and stolen base for Skagit Valley.
Skagit Valley 13, Douglas 3 (8 inn) – SVC got a nice start from Owen Murdock (6ip, 3ER, 5K) while Varen Sabino recorded a 2B & 4 RBI for the Cardinals. Kaden Kirshenbaum (3-5, 2R, RBI, 2SB) & Aidan Roddel (3R, 4BB) were key cogs in the SVC offense. Logan Newman recorded a 2-run single as Douglas’s only run-scoring hit.
