Went to Tacoma and caught the doubleheader between TCC & Lower Columbia so apologies for the late update.
- Tacoma 5, Lower Columbia 2 – Trent Buchanan struck out 9, allowing 1 earned over 5.1 innings of work. Ryan Fowler recorded a 3 hit day, driving in two (VIDEO / VIDEO). LC tied it at 2 in the top of the 8th on a Justin Stransky Sac Fly but the Titans put up a 3 spot in the bottom half to pull away.
- Tacoma 2, Lower Columbia 0 – Both pitchers went the distance in game 2: Seti Manase (CG, 1H, 10K) and Brayden Marcum (CG, ER, 2K). Mason Fritsch scored on an error in the first and Cade Crist hit an RBI double (VIDEO) in the 2nd to provide all the offense in this one.
- Everett 5, Olympic 0 – Kenji Miller was outstanding for Everett (7ip, 5H, 10K) while Ben Steck (3-4, 2R, 2B, HR, 3RBI) and Ryan Contreras (2-4, 2RBI) drove in all 5 runs.
- Everett 3, Olympic 0 – Dylan Matsuoka was just as dominant in game 2, going 6 strong, allowing just 1 hit and striking 12. Konnor Palmeira & Cameron Green both hit solo shots while Braeden Terry hit an RBI triple as part of his 2 hit game.
- Skagit Valley 2, Bellevue 0 – SVC pitchers Judah Graham (5ip, 3H, 8K) and Marques Brown (4ip, 0H, 6K) were terrific on the bump while Kyle Henington (2B) & Elisha Sergeant provided the RBIs.
- Bellevue 5, Skagit Valley 3 – Jacob Kaepernick pitched into the 7th inning for Bellevue (6.2ip, 1ER, 4K). Bellevue started the scoring in the 2nd, including an RBI triple by Damon Ingram (2-4, 2RBI). In the 7th, Aidan Roddel hit an RBI single and a bases loaded walk got Skagit within 1, but in the bottom half, Eunsang Yu put it away with an RBI double to salvage the split.
