He appeared in 11 games with 9 starts, and recorded a 6-1 record with a 2.80 ERA and 65 strikeouts in 54.2 innings. He also batted .275 with seven doubles, one home run, and 15 RBI. He was named to the All-Northwest Conference Second Team as a pitcher.
Mateus Conaway is a senior left-handed pitcher and outfielder for the Whitman Blues, a Division III baseball team in the Northwest Conference. Conaway has been a standout player for the Blues since his freshman year, and has earned several accolades and recognition for his performance on the mound and at the plate. Conaway, who hails from Crockett, California, attended Alhambra High School, where he was a four-year varsity letter winner and a two-time all-league selection.
