College of Southern Idaho (2020-2021) and BYU (2022) alum Nate Dahle turned in an excellent 2023 in his first full season in the Tampa Bay Rays farm system. After being drafted in 2022, the 6-foot-6 righty from Logan, Utah, began the year in Single-A with the Charleston RiverDogs. After making just three appearances in Charleston (5.1 IP, 0.00 ERA), Dahle was promoted to High-A and joined the Bowling Green Hot Rods. There, he made 26 appearances out of the bullpen, throwing 38.1 innings, striking out 42 batters, and posting a 2.82 ERA and 0.94 WHIP.
Dahle was drafted in 13th round (404th overall) by the Tampa Bay Rays in 2022. Prior to that, Dahle spent three seasons in college. He pitched for the College of Southern Idaho (JUCO) in 2020 and 2021, throwing 35 innings over the two years. Nate endured Tommy John surgery and finished his career at CSI with a 2.57 ERA and 1.14 WHIP. Nate transferred to Brigham Young University where he posted a 2.74 ERA with 61 strikeouts over 42.2 innings.
