Centralia Trailblazers Unveil 2024 College Baseball Schedule

The Centralia College Trailblazers have released their 2024 Northwest Athletic Conference (NWAC) baseball schedule. The Trailblazers are coming off a 26-24 season in 2023, which included a 9-15 record in conference play, finishing 5th in the West. Led by head coach Ben Hartley, an experienced coaching staff, a strong returning core, and a talented incoming class, Centralia is poised for a strong run in the 2024 season.

February

The season kicks off Saturday, February 17th at home with a four-game series against the Wenatchee Valley College Knights (23-27), followed by another four-game home series against the Mt. Hood CC Saints (18-22). These early matchups will be a test for the Trailblazers, as they look to establish a strong foundation for the season.

March

The month begins with a visit from the Treasure Valley CC Chukars (13-33) to Centralia for four games before hitting the road for a series against the Big Bend CC Vikings (22-27). After that, The Trailblazers play a home-and-home series against the Yakima Valley College Yaks (19-31), playing two games at home in Centralia, and two games on the road in Yakima.

Centralia then welcomes the Southwestern Oregon CC Lakers (27-20) for a series before beginning conference play with a home-and-home set against the defending champion Lower Columbia College Red Devils (40-14).

April

April will bring a mix of home-and-home series against the Pierce College Raiders (24-26), the Grays Harbor College Chokers (18-30), and the Clark College Penguins (24-21), with two non-conference games at Pacific JV sandwiched in between.

May

The month of May will bring the season to a close with a home-and-home series against the Tacoma CC Titans (44-7) and the Olympic College Rangers (5-37). These final matchups will be crucial for the Trailblazers as they look to solidify their position in the NWAC standings. Super Regionals begin the weekend of May 17th, followed by the NWAC Baseball Championship, beginning May 23rd.
