Lower Columbia, fresh off their 15th NWAC championship, announced their baseball schedule on 𝕏 yesterday. The Red Devils, led by Head Coach Kurt Lupinski, finished the 2023 season with a 40-14 overall record, and a conference record of 21-3. Both were best in the NWAC last year.

February

The Red Devils’ 2024 season is about to kick off, starting with the season opener, at home, against Chemeketa CC (19-24 overall in 2023, 16-20 in conference) on the 20th. The team will then host doubleheaders against Lane CC (29-23, 22-14) on the 23rd and Bellevue College (35-18, 24-6) on the 24th, wrapping up the month with a home game against George Fox University JV on the 27th.

March

In March, the Red Devils will face Everett CC (26-28, 15-15) in a home doubleheader, followed by another doubleheader against Shoreline CC (17-27, 10-19). The team will then embark on a home-and-home series against Edmonds College (37-15, 21-7), starting in Longview on the 15th, before traveling to Edmonds College for two games. The month will end with a trip to Columbia Basin College (34-20, 19-9) for four games.

March also marks the beginning of NWAC play, with a home-and-home series against Centralia College (26-24, 9-15) to close out the month.

April

April brings twelve conference games, featuring home-and-home series against Olympic College (5-37, 3-21), Clark College (24-21, 13-11), and the formidable Tacoma CC (44-7, 20-4), whom the Red Devils faced in the NWAC Championship last season. A home doubleheader against George Fox University JV is also scheduled for the 16th.

May

In May, the Red Devils will wrap up regular season play with home-and-home series against conference rivals Pierce College (24-26, 11-13) and Grays Harbor (18-30, 7-17).

The season will culminate with the thrilling NWAC Super Regionals from May 17-19 and the NWAC Baseball Championship from May 23-27.
