OSU took an early 1-0 lead in the first, but Oregon State responded with 1 run in the bottom half, then with 3 runs in the 2nd highlighted by Bazzana’s first homer. They never relinquished control, adding single runs in the 3rd, 4th, and 6th innings. Mason Guerra had 2 hits, including a double, and two RBI. The combination of Tephen Montgomery, Kellan Oakes, Drew Talavs, and Joey Mundt each throw an inning apiece, shutting out the OSU offense the rest of the way.

Redshirt junior pitcher Gianluca Shinn was stellar in relief, tossing 2 scoreless innings to earn the victory.
