WCL Announces 2024 All-Star Game Rosters

The West Coast League (WCL) is set to revive its All-Star Game after a five-year hiatus, with the 2024 edition scheduled for July 17 at Joe Martin Field in Bellingham, Washington. Commissioner Rob Neyer announced the rosters for this highly anticipated event, which will showcase top collegiate baseball talent from across the western United States and Canada. The two-day celebration kicks off on July 16 with a Community Champions Game, featuring WCL All-Stars playing alongside participants from the Max Higbee Center, an organization supporting individuals with developmental disabilities. This charitable event will donate half of its ticket sales to the Center.

Bellingham Bells’ Bob Ralston will manage the North squad, while Corvallis Knights’ Brooke Knight leads the South. The roster selection ensures representation from all 16 WCL teams, spanning Oregon, Washington, British Columbia, and Alberta. Notable players include UCLA’s Roman Martin and Cal State San Bernadino’s Jeremy Giesegh for the North, with the South boasting talents like Washington’s Blake Wilson and Oregon State’s James DeCremer. The diverse lineup represents a mix of established college programs and rising stars from smaller schools.

Fans unable to attend can look forward to broadcast details, which the league promises to announce soon. This All-Star Game marks an important milestone in the WCL’s return to full operations and its commitment to showcasing premier summer collegiate baseball in the West.
