The Whitman College baseball program enters the 2025 season following their Northwest Conference (NWC) regular season championship run in 2024. The Blues, coming off a 26-16 overall record and 16-8 conference mark, have released their schedule as they pursue back-to-back titles.
The 2025 campaign kicks off with a pair of exhibition contests against Columbia Basin College on February 8. The Blues then return to their home field at Raymond V. Borleske Stadium for their first official series of the season, hosting Warner Pacific University in a four-game set February 15-16. The matchup features the Knights, from the Cascade Collegiate Conference, in their inaugural season after adding baseball to their University.
In late February, Whitman participates in the 2025 NWC Round Robin, a non-conference event hosted by Linfield University. This early-season event in McMinnville, Oregon includes games against Pacific Lutheran University, University of Puget Sound, and host Linfield.
The non-conference schedule continues with Whitman’s California road trip in early March. The Blues head to Southern California for a three-game series against California Lutheran University, followed by a single game against Whittier College.
Conference play begins on March 15 as Whitman travels to Tacoma for a three-game series against the University of Puget Sound. The Blues’ first home conference series follows the next weekend when they welcome Lewis & Clark College to Borleske Stadium for a three-game set.
The schedule includes two mid-week contests against Eastern Oregon University. The Blues travel to La Grande, Oregon on March 26 for an afternoon game, then host the Mountaineers for an evening game on April 8 at Borleske Stadium. These games mark the only mid-week contests of the regular season.
The regular season schedule concludes with several conference matchups in April and May. Whitman hosts defending conference tournament champion Linfield for three games April 18-19, before closing out the regular season with a home series against Whitworth University May 3-4.
The Northwest Conference Tournament is scheduled for May 9-11, with the regular season champion earning hosting rights.
