Park-Gilbert 9, Eastern Oregon 8: The Mountaineers took a 4-1 lead in the top of the second inning, led by a three-run home run by Greyson McDaniel. They added two more runs in the top of the fourth with a two-RBI double by Carson Gerding. However, the Buccaneers tied it 6-6 with five runs in the bottom of the fifth. The Mountaineers took an 8-6 lead in the top of the seventh with a two-RBI double by Mason Van Arsdall. The Buccaneers got one back in the bottom of the seventh, and the Mountaineers led 8-7 going into the bottom of the ninth. That inning started with Alex Farnsworth walking a batter. The next batter, Caleb Rozier, hit a home run to win it.
McDaniel finished 3-for-4 with the home run and a triple. Box score
Eastern Oregon 7, Park-Gilbert 4: The Mountaineers led this seven-inning game all the way. Tucker Zander scored the winning run in the fourth when Lucas Smith reached on a fielder’s choice.

British Columbia 6, Saint Francis (IN) 5: The Cougars led 3-2 at the seventh inning stretch; the two Thunderbird runs came on an RBI single by David Krahn, who then scored on a wild pitch. The Thunderbirds tied it 3-3 in the bottom of the eighth with an RBI double by Stephen Waters. The Cougars got two runs in the top of the ninth with a two-RBI single by Callan Stauffer at the expense of Lucas Huynh. However, with two out in the bottom of the ninth, Waters came up big again with a two-RBI double to tie it. The next batter was Kyle Yip, and he hit a single to score Waters and win it.
Ryan Heppner pitched the first four innings, allowed three hits, struck out five. Huynh, who pitched the final two innings, got the win. Waters finished 3-for-3. He is a first-year student from Toronto, and this was his first start; he had two at-bats prior to this game. Box score
Saint Francis (IN) 16, British Columbia 10: The Cougars scored 11 runs in the first inning, only three of them earned, off Daniel Orfaly. He didn’t get out of the first inning. The Thunderbirds made a late run in the top of the seventh of a seven-inning game, scoring seven runs, two of them on hit batters, and another on a walk. Hilo Yamanoto went 3-for-3 with an RBI.
