Eastern Oregon 13, Warner Pacific 10 at La Grande, OR. Parker Cumberland got it started for the Mountaineers with a three-run home run in the bottom of the second inning. The Mountaineers added four runs in the fourth with an RBI double by Mario Landeros, an RBI single by Mason Van Arsdall, and an RBI double by Greyson McDaniel. They scored two runs in the fifth inning, and three more in the sixth inning, on a home run by Tyler Balkenbush. At that point, they led 12-3. However, the Knights got back in it with seven runs in the top of the eighth. The rally started with an RBI single by Connor Hale. Then Mason Deverna and Shawn Hunt both hit three-run home runs, and the Knights trailed by only 12-10. The Mountaineers got an insurance run in the bottom of the eighth on a sacrifice fly by Justin Frederick. The Knights loaded the bases with one out in the top of the ninth, so they had the go-ahead run at the plate. The Mountaineers brought in Alex Farnsworth to pitch, and he got a strikeout and a ground out to conserve the win.
Mountaineer starter Danny Burns got the win, and Farnsworth got a save. Knight starter Jaxon Hamada got the loss. Cumberland finished 4-for-5 with a home run, a double, and four RBI. Trevor Baker also went 4-for-5, with a triple, a double, and an RBI for the Mountaineers. Deverna finished 3-for-6 with a home run and four RBI. Box score
Warner Pacific 17, Eastern Oregon 9. The Knights had 23 hits. This game was close for a while; the Mountaineers led 5-4 after five innings. The Knights got four runs in the top of the sixth with a two-RBI single by NeaCoali Winston and a two-RBI double by Colby Barnes. They added a two-run home run by Mason Deverna and an RBI single by Shawn Hunt in the seventh, and led 11-5.
Connor Hale started for the Knights, got the win. He pitched six innings, allowed five runs on ten hits, struck out four. Deverna moved to the mound, and Hale moved to center field. Deverna went the rest of the way, allowed four runs on only two hits, struck out four, and walked five. Hale went 3-for-5 with a triple, a double, and two RBI at the plate. Mitchell Thoma-Britt went 3-for-6 with two doubles and three RBI. Trevor Baker went 2-for-5 with two doubles and three RBI for the Mountaineers. Tucker Zander got the loss. Box score recap

Albert Jennings
Bushnell 8, College of Idaho 5 at Caldwell, ID. The Beacons trailed 5-4 going into the ninth inning, but they came up with a two-run home run by Albert Jennings for the winning run, then added a two-run home run by Cade Crist. The Coyotes had runners at second and third with two out in the bottom of the ninth, but Alec Gums recorded a strikeout to end it.
Crist finished 3-for-5 with two home runs and five RBI. Jennings also went 3-for-5 with two home runs, and had three RBI. Loreto Siniscalchi got the win in relief; he pitched 3 2/3 innings, allowed one run on one hit, struck out four, and walked four. The Coyotes got a good start from Oliver Massie; he pitched six innings, allowed three earned runs on six hits, struck out ten. Zaylor Bruegeman got the loss. Ben Gaff went 3-for-5 with a home run, a double, and an RBI for the Coyotes. Box score
Bushnell 5, College of Idaho 2. Another game decided in the ninth inning. The game was tied 2-2 going into the ninth, but Jordan Wilson hit a three-run home run in the top of the ninth to win it.
Braden Proud and Garrett Vohs combined to limit the Coyotes to three hits. Proud pitched the first seven innings, allowed both of the Coyotes’s runs and all three hits, struck out seven. He got a no-decision; the win went to Vohs, who retired all six batters he faced, struck out four of them. Grant Jakobson, who pitched the ninth inning, got the loss. Chase Nye of the Beacons was the only player to get two hits in the game. Cade Crist also hit a home run for the Beacons. Box score recap
Lewis-Clark State 3, Corban 0 at Lewiston, ID. Jantzen Lucas and Robby Butenschoen combined for a three-hit shutout. Lucas pitched the first six innings, allowed all three hits, struck out two. Butenschoen didn’t allow a hit over the final three innings, struck out three.
Avery Williamson started for Corban, went 5 2/3 innings, allowed five hits, and gave up the only earned run of the game, an RBI single by Abe Affholter. John Brabb pitched the next three innings, allowed one unearned run on two hits. Affholter went 2-for-3 with a double and two RBI. Charlie Updegrave went 2-for-5 with a double. Joshua Miyazawa went 2-for-4 for Corban. Box score
Lewis-Clark State 17, Corban 6. Lewis-Clark State led 10-6 after seven innings, but put it away with five runs in the top of the eighth*. starting with a sacrifice fly by Jakob Marques, then an RBI single by Izzy Madariaga, and finally a three-run home run by Kai Pagan.
Madariaga went 3-for-6 with two doubles and four RBI. L-C State used five pitchers; Kolby Solomon, who pitched the fifth inning, got the win. San Greenhalgh got the loss. Drew DeMasi went 2-for-5 with two RBI for Corban. Box score recap

British Columbia 9, Oregon Tech 6 at Vancouver, BC. The Thunderbirds led all the way. It started with a solo home run by Kyle Yip in the bottom of the second, followed by by a two-run home run by Kaden Zarowny. The Hustlin’ Owls got two back in the top of the third with an RBI single by Tyler Horner and a sacrifice fly by M Ortiz, but the Thunderbirds answered with a two-run home run by Mitchell Middlemiss. David Krahn hit a two-RBI double later in the game. The Owls got a late rally in the top of the ninth with an RBI double by Julien Jones and a sacrifice fly by Horner, but it came up short.
Will Anderson started for the Thunderbirds, got his first win of the season. He pitched 6 1/3 innings, allowed four runs on six hits, struck out five. James Brock went the rest of the way, allowed two runs on two hits, struck out two. Landon Cheney got the loss. Zarowny finished 3-for-4 with a home run and four RBI, and also made an excellent catch in center field. Horner finished 2-for-4 with a double and three RBI. Box score
British Columbia 9, Oregon Tech 4. The Hustlin’ Owls got three runs in the top of the seventh inning to take a 4-3 lead. It didn’t last long. Kaden Zarowny was on second with two out in the bottom of the seventh, and Jonny McGill and Trent Lenihan drew walks. The Owls replaced Kaden Melzer with Riley Cronin, and Zarowny scored on a passed ball. Aaron Marsh drew a walk, and Mitchell Middlemiss hit a two-RBI single for the winning run.Kyle Yip hit a two-RBI double, and Russell Young hit an RBI single to complete the scoring.
Ryan Beitel started for the Thunderbirds, went six innings, allowed three runs on five hits, struck out seven walked four. Alex Lee went the rest of the way, was charged with one run on two hits, struck out three, got his first win. Cronin got the loss. Kyle Yip finished 2-for-4 with a home run, a double, and four RBI. Middlemiss was also 2-for-4, with a home run and three RBI. Matthew Ortiz went 3-for-4 with two doubles and two RBI for the Owls. Patrick Barry did not get a hit, ending his hitting streak at 37 games. (It was a conference and a Northwest small-college record.) Box score
