Oregon
Tech swept Eastern Oregon, Lewis-Clark State swept Warner Pacific,
and British Columbia defeated College of Idaho.
Oregon Tech 14, Eastern Oregon 2 at
Klamath Falls, OR. Halted by the run rule after seven innings. The
Hustlin’ Owls took a 4-0 lead in the bottom of the second on an RBI
double by Keanu Mizuta, a two-RBI double by Korrey Siracusa, and a
sacrifice fly by Patrick Barry. Logan Macy hit a two-RBI triple in
the fifth, then scored on a sacrifice fly by Ka’ala Tam. Tyler
Horner hit a two-run home run in the sixth, and the Owls scored five
more runs in the sixth to take the game into run rule territory.
The Mountaineers were shut out
by Isaac Hill for six innings. He allowed three hits, struck out one,
walked one. Mountaineer starter Danny Burns got the loss. Julien
Jones and Dane Bradshaw each had two hits for the Owls, and Jones hit
a double. Mario Landeros finished 2-for-3 with a double for the
Mountaineers. box

Oregon Tech 9, Eastern Oregon 2. Three
Hustlin’ Owl pitchers, Carson Glavich, Caleb Randolph, and Noah
Loew, were able to hold the Mountaineers scoreless for eight innings.
Glavich pitched six innings, scattered eight hit and a walk, struck
out four, got the win.
The Owls got seven of their runs
in the bottom of the third inning, including a solo home run and an
RBI double by Tyler Horner and a two-RBI single by Korrey Siracusa.
Horner hit an RBI double later in the game, and finished 3-for-4.
Zakaia Michaels, who was charged with five of the third inning runs,
got the loss. box

British Columbia 17, College of Idaho 8
at Vancouver, BC. Halted by rain after 5 ½ innings. The Thunderbirds
started with nine runs (all unearned) in the bottom of the first
inning, capped with a two-run home run by David Krahn. The Coyotes
actually made it a one-run game with two runs in the top of the
second and six runs in the top of the third. However, the
Thunderbirds answered with two runs in the bottom of the third on a
solo home run by David Draayers and a two-RBI double by Jonny McGill,
then put it away with six runs in the bottom of the fifth, including
a two-RBI double by Trent Lenihan.
Evan Hoegler, who relieved
starter Daniel Orfaly in the third inning, got the win. He pitched 2
1/3 innings, allowed no runs on two hits, struck out four. James
Brock pitched the sixth inning, allowed one hit, struck out one.
Mountaineer starter Jackson Cummins got the loss; he allowed 11 runs
(only three of them earned) on nine hits, struck out two. Draayers
finished 3-for-3 with a home run, a double, three RBI, and three runs
scored. Caden Casagrande finished 3-for-4 with a two-run home run.

British Columbia and College of
Idaho split the series with two games apiece.
Lewis-Clark State 10, Warner Pacific 6 at
Lewiston, ID. The Knights led this 6-3 going into the bottom of the
sixth, but they were shut out by Kolby Solomon and Jace Taylor over
the final three innings, and the Warriors got a three-RBI triple by
Ike George in the bottom of the sixth. George scored the winning run
on a single by Jack Sheward. Bulla Ephan hit a two-RBI single in the
eighth, and a hit batter in the eighth completed the scoring.
Solomon got the win. He pitched
2 2/3 innings, allowed two runs on three hits, struck out two. Taylor
pitched the final two innings, didn’t allow a hit. Jaxon Hamada
pitched the first four innings for the Knights, allowed three runs on
three hits, struck out three. Kaden Hindman got the loss. George,
Sheward, Brandon Cabrera, and Ephan each had two hits for the
Warriors. Mitchell Thoma-Britt went 2-for-5 with two RBI for the
Knights. box

Lewis-Clark State 14, Warner Pacific 3. Halted
by the run rule after seven innings. The Warriors scored eleven runs
in the first inning, including a solo home run by Charlie Updegrave,
and a grand slam home run by Jakob Marquez. John Paul Avila hit a
solo home run later in the game. All three of the Knights’ runs
came from a home run by Trenten Lowe. Landon Webb pitched the first
four innings for the Warriors, allowed no runs on two hits, struck
out two. Marquez and Ike George finished 3-for-4. Connor Hale, who
was chased without completing the first inning, got the loss. box
