Summary of the third day of the 2026 Cascade Collegiate Conference tournament at Harris Field, Lewiston, ID. Lewis-Clark State won the championship.

First game: #2 seed British Columbia 8, #4 Bushnell 2 – Bushnell eliminated. The Thunderbirds scored a run in the top of the first inning with an RBI single by Josh Cote. The next batter, Kellen Bourne, gave the Thunderbirds all the runs they needed with a three-run home run. Beacon starter Loreto Siniscalchi was chased two batters later after recording only one out. His replacement, Tyler Biddinger, was able to hold the Thunderbirds to two runs (one earned) until the fifth inning, when the Thunderbirds got RBI singles by Matt Vanslyke and Lou Fujiwara.
The Beacons didn’t get their first hit off Thunderbird starter Myles Chamberlain until the bottom of the fifth inning, with a solo home run by Caleb Richter. The Beacons got another run off Chamberlain in the bottom of the sixth with an RBI single by Max Richards. The Thunderbirds completed the scoring in the top of the seventh with a two-RBI single by Kansai Sugumoto, and the Thunderbirds led 8-2 when Chamberlain was relieved by Kaden Douglas-Pluff. Douglas-Pluff allowed one hit and struck out two in 1 1/3 innings. Mason Chien went the rest of the way, allowed two hits.
Chanberlain allowed four hits, struck out five. Vanslyke, Sugimoto, Fujiwara, and Kyle Yip each had two hits. Richter finished 2-for-3.
Second game: #1 Lewis-Clark State 12, #2 British Columbia 2 – Lewis-Clark State wins the championship. The Warriors led this one all the way. They scored three runs in the bottom of the first inning with a two-RBI single by Jackson Reed and a sacrifice fly by Sam Weber.
The Thunderbirds had their best chance to do some damage in the top of the third inning. Josh Cote came up to bat with the bases loaded, but all the Thunderbirds got out of it was a sacrifice fly. The Warriors got that run back in the bottom of the third with an RBI on a ground out by Weber.
Bryce Johnson put the game out of reach in the bottom of the sixth with a three-run home run, and the Warriors led 10-2. The Thunderbirds stranded runners on second and third in the top of the seventh. Johnson hit an RBI double in the bottom of the eighth, and Ryan Prescott completed the scoring with a sacrifice fly.
Joey Estrada got the win in relief; he pitched 2 1/3 innings, allowed one run (on a wild pitch) on three hits, struck out two. Thunderbird starter Daniel Orfaly got the loss. Johnson finished 4-for-4 with a home run, a double, four RBI, and four runs scored. Braeden Scott finished 3-for-4 with a double for the Thunderbirds. The Warriors out-hit the Thunderbirds 13-8.
