Cade is coming of an NWAC season in which he started the year in the pen for the Clark College, logging 6 relief appearances before taking over a spot in the rotation and starting 6 games.
In all, he finished the year with 6-1, 1 SV, 57.1 innings pitched, 1.10 ERA, 0.97 WHIP, while striking out 48 In the summer he played for the Portland Pickles of the West Coast League, posting a summer line of 17 IP, 2.65 ERA, 1.17 WHIP, 17 K.
