Redhawks unveil 2024 baseball schedule

Head Coach Donny Harrel and his Redhawks have released their schedule, and it’s a gauntlet of intriguing matchups, formidable opponents, and the promise of redemption on their home turf of Bannerwood Park.

February throws them into the fire right away, with a trip to California for eight non-conference games to start the year. The regular season begins with a three-game series at UC Davis (17-37) followed by a lone midweek tilt against Pacific (14-35). The following weekend begins a three-game set San Jose State (31-27), followed by a single game at San Francisco (18-29) against the Dons.

March ramps up the intensity beginning with the home opener at Bannerwood Park in Bellevue, Washington, with a four-game series against Saint Mary’s (23-28) from the West Coast Conference (WCC). Western Athletic Conference (WAC) play begins with a trip to California Baptist (28-30, 15-15 in WAC), followed by a home series against UT Rio Grande Valley (30-26, 15-14) before they head east for a two-game non-conference clash with Washington State (29-23) in the shadow of the Palouse.

Back at Bannerwood, a series versus Utah Tech (13-39, 8-22) offers a chance to build momentum before a daunting trip to Eugene and a four-game showdown with the always-dangerous Oregon Ducks (41-22) closes out the month.

April opens with a lone midweek date at Washington (35-20) before heading to Texas to take on Tarleton State (26-26, 10-18) followed by another battle against the Huskies in Seattle. Sacramento State (30-26, 14-16) comes to town next, before a single game against Saint Martin’s University, a D2 program from the GNAC. A three-game series at Stephen F. Austin (22-28, 12-18) in the heart of Texas will be a true road test, followed by a return home for a series against Grand Canyon (37-21, 22-7) and another midweek clash with Washington State.

May arrives with the scent of postseason in the air. A Utah Valley (34-24, 16-12) series opens the month, followed by the crucial return of UT Arlington (29-29, 16-14) to Bannerwood Park. The regular season wraps up with a trip to Abilene Christian (35-24, 16-14), where the Redhawks will aim to finish strong and secure their place in the May 21-25 WAC Baseball Tournament.
