The early 2026 season continues to deliver excitement across the Pacific Northwest, with standout performances earning Great Northwest Athletic Conference (GNAC) and Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC) weekly honors. This week’s Players of the Week highlight dominant hitting and pitching that powered their teams forward.

GNAC Hitter of the Week: Coleman Parry – Northwest Nazarene

Coleman Parry captured his first GNAC Hitter of the Week award. The Nighthawks won every game he appeared in last week. Victories came against Azusa Pacific plus a doubleheader sweep of Cal State LA.

He went 8-for-10 (.800) with six doubles, eight RBIs, two runs scored, and two walks. That produced an .833 on-base percentage. Notably, he tied a GNAC record by hitting four doubles in one contest.

Early in 2026, Parry slashes .579/.636/.895 with a 1.531 OPS. Six doubles currently lead his team.

GNAC Pitcher of the Week: Ayden Holker – Western Oregon

Ayden Holker secured GNAC Pitcher of the Week honors in his season debut. Six shutout innings powered a 17-0 Wolves rout. He limited opponents to four hits while striking out five. Two walks gave him a clean 1.00 WHIP.

This junior right-hander brings experience into his third season. Nine career starts already sit on his resume. Such a sharp opener strengthens the entire rotation.

CCC Hitter of the Week: David Krahn – British Columbia

David Krahn (Langley, B.C.) earned CCC Player of the Week recognition. The UBC sophomore infielder posted a .550 average last week. Eleven hits featured five doubles and one home run. Thirteen RBIs, six runs, and a .591 on-base mark rounded out his strong showing.

Through early 2026 games, Krahn slashes .500/.537/.889 with a 1.426 OPS. Eight doubles and 18 RBIs pace the Thunderbirds. Two home runs add extra pop.

CCC Pitcher of the Week: James Brock – British Columbia

James Brock (Burnaby, B.C.) claimed CCC Pitcher of the Week after a dominant outing. Five scoreless innings anchored a 10-4 UBC victory. Three hits allowed came with six strikeouts. A 0.00 ERA and 0.80 WHIP capped the performance.

Across two starts in 2026, Brock stands at 1-1. A 2.45 ERA, 0.82 WHIP, and 15 strikeouts cover 11 innings. Veteran poise continues to shine for the Thunderbirds.
