The Gonzaga Bulldogs baseball team has an exciting 2024 season ahead, filled with non-conference matchups against storied programs and a competitive West Coast Conference slate.
The Zags kick off their season on the road, facing Pac-12 foe UCLA in a three-game set in Los Angeles from February 16-18. This marks the first meeting between the teams since 2018. Gonzaga then heads to Nashville for a premier showdown against Vanderbilt from February 23-25, the first ever matchup between the programs.
After a trip to Provo to take on BYU, now a member of the Big 12, from February 29-March 2, the Bulldogs finally return home to open their 18-game home schedule against Minnesota from March 7-9. Non-conference highlights also include a first-time series at Wichita State from March 15-17.
When WCC play begins on March 22, the Zags host defending champion Loyola Marymount. Other key conference series include trips to Saint Mary’s (March 28-30) and San Francisco (April 12-14), as well as home sets against Santa Clara (April 5-7) and Pepperdine (May 16-18).
Mixed into the WCC slate are some intriguing non-conference games as well. The Bulldogs face in-state rival Washington State twice, at home on April 9 and on the road April 23. They also battle Oregon in Eugene on April 16 and host Southern California on May 14. In addition, Gonzaga renews its all-time series with Oregon State, facing the Beavers in Corvallis on April 1-2 and at home on May 6.
GU closes out the regular season against Pepperdine on May 16-18. The 2024 West Coast Conference Baseball Tournament begins May 22nd and runs through May 25th at Las Vegas Ballpark in Las Vegas, Nevada. All games will be streamed on ESPN+.
