Lewis-Clark State College’s senior outfielder, Isaiah Thomas, is no stranger to the spotlight. After lighting up the 2023 season with monster numbers and helping lead his team deep into the NAIA World Series, Thomas has earned a coveted spot on the 2024 Preseason All-NAIA Ball Team. This early recognition underscores the sheer dominance he displayed last year, and fuels excitement for what’s to come.
Thomas’s 2023 campaign was a masterclass in offensive prowess. He led the Warriors in OPS (1.158), home runs (20), RBIs (60), and total bases (152). His bat crackled with power, boasting a slugging percentage of .710, while his keen eye earned him 21 hit-by-pitches and his blazing speed resulted in 12 stolen bases, all tops on the team as well.
Thomas’s heroics on the grandest stage solidified his place among the NAIA’s elite. He was crowned Avista NAIA World Series MVP, his bat erupting for six home runs and 13 RBIs across the six-game series. He was also named to the NAIA All-Tournament Team and All-Cascade Conference Team, solidifying his status as one of the premier players in the NAIA.
