game. The Warriors opened the scoring with an RBI single by Noah
Weintraub in the top of the first. That was the only run they got.
The Beacons didn’t get anyone to first base for the first three
innings, but Albert Jennings tied it with a home run in the bottom of
the fourth. Jordan Wilson hit an RBI double for the winning run in
the sixth inning, and hit another RBI double for the insurance run in
the eighth.
Max Chapman pitched the first
six innings for the Beacons. He allowed the run and four hits, struck
out six, got the win. Ethan Sachs pitched the remaining three
innings, allowed two hits, struck out three, got a save. Warrior
starter Evan Canfield got the loss. He pitched six innings, allowed
two runs on four hits, struck out 11.
Wilson finished 3-for-4. Chase Nye finished 2-for-4 for the Beacons.

Bushnell 9, Lewis-Clark State 8 (11 innings). Great
ball game. Jacob Stoner hit a home run with one out in the bottom of
the eleventh to win it for the Beacons.
The Beacons led 8-6 going into
the ninth inning. The Warriors were down to their last out, but
Dominic Signorelli hit a solo home run and Ike George hit an RBI
single to send it into the bottom of the ninth. The Beacons left the
bases loaded in the bottom of the ninth. In the top of the tenth,
Signorelli drew a walk with two outs, and Beacon third baseman Ethan
Stacy robbed Brandon Cabrera of an extra-bases hit that might have
scored a run. The Beacons went down in order in the bottom of the
tenth, and got a double play to end the top of the eleventh.
The Beacons led 5-4 after four
innings. The Warriors took a 6-5 lead in the top of the sixth with
sacrifice flies by Jakob Marquez and Signorelli. The Beacons to a 7-6
lead in the bottom of the seventh with a two-RBI double by Dylan
Carson, and added a run in the eighth with an RBI single by Nate
Stevens.
Elijah Breault pitched the tenth
and eleventh innings, didn’t allow a hit, struck out one, walked
two, got the win. Jake Green took the mound in the bottom of the
ninth to end the bases-loaded threat, and the only hit he gave up was
the Stoner home run. The Warriors out-hit the Beacons 18-13. Both
teams used seven pitchers. Albert Jennings went 4-for-6 with two
doubles and a run scored for the Beacons. Carson went 2-for-4 with a
home run, a double, and four RBI. Will Hudler hit a home run for the
Beacons. Jack Sheward finished 4-for-5 with three doubles and an RBI
for the Warriors. Garrett Bevacqua hit a home run for the Warriors.

College of Idaho 6, Warner Pacific 4 at
Portland, OR. The Coyotes got it started in the top of the third
inning when James Hull stole third, then scored on an error by the
catcher. They took a 2-0 lead with a home run by Brandon Faire in the
top of the fourth. The Knights tied it in the bottom of the fourth
with an RBI single by Mitchell Thoma-Britt and Alex Nisbet coming
home on a double play. The Coyotes took a 4-2 lead in the top of the
sixth with an RBI on a ground out by Jace Mahlke and Caden Casagrande
scoring on a wild pitch. The Knights tied it again with an RBI double
by Collin Schiller and an RBI single by Nisbet in the bottom of the
seventh. Jack Ingraham hit a sacrifice fly in the top of the eighth
for the winning run, and Mahlke hit an RBI single to complete the
scoring.
Oliver Massie started for the
Coyotes, pitched 6 2/3 innings, allowed three earned runs on nine
hits, struck out six, threw 113 pitches. Zaylor Bruegeman got the
win; he retired all seven batters he faced, struck out four of them.
The Knights got a good start by Connor Hale; six innings pitched,
three earned runs on six hits, struck out eight. Kaden Hindman, who
gave up the eighth inning runs, got the loss. Connor Olsen, Mahlke,
Faire, and James Hull each had two hits for the Coyotes. Schiller

by the run rule after seven innings. The Coyotes started with an RBI
double by Jack Ingraham and a two-RBI single by Brandon Faire in the
top of the first. They added five runs in the third on an RBI single
by Jace Mahlke, an RBI double by Faire, a two-RBI double by James
Hull, and an RBI on a ground out by Ben Gaff. They got the winning
run in the fourth inning on a sacrifice fly by Mahlke. Caden
Casagrande hit a three-run home run in the fifth, and Connor Olsen
hit a solo home run in the sixth. Pete Bacon hit a two-RBI single in
the top of the seventh to give the Coyotes the ten-run margin.
Jackson Cummins got the win. He
pitched four innings, allowed four earned runs on three hits, struck
out three. Josiah Nickel got the loss. Faire finished 3-for-4 with
two doubles and four RBI. Alex Nisbet had two hits (one of them a

Klamath Falls, OR. The Warriors led 2-1 after three innings, but the
Hustlin’ Owls took the lead for good with a two-RBI triple by Keanu
Mizuta in the the bottom of the fourth inning. They put it away with
six runs in the bottom of the sixth, including a two-run home run by
Mizuta and a two-RBI triple by Patrick Barry. Tyler Horner hit an RBI
triple and Julien Jones hit a sacrifice fly in the eighth inning to
complete the scoring.
Bronson Chapple started and got
the win for the Owls. He scattered 13 hits over seven innings,
allowed the four runs, struck out five, threw 111 pitches. Chris
Shaffer got the loss. Barry and Korrey Siracusa both finished
3-for-4. Ryan Clay finished 3-for-5 with a double for the Warriors.

game was tied 4-4 going into the bottom of the eighth, but Ka’ala
Tam hit a sacrifice fly for the winning run. Korrey Siracusa hit a
two-RBI double and Tyler Horner hit an RBI single for the insurance
runs.
The Warriors led 4-2 after four
innings. Their runs came from an RBI single by Ryan Clay, a two-run
home run by Michon Cole, and a sacrifice fly by Jeremiah Pinkerton.
The Hustlin’ Owls’ runs came on an RBI triple by Tyler Horner,
who then scored on a wild pitch. The Owls tied it in the bottom of
the seventh with an RBI single by Patrick Barry and an RBI double by
Horner.
The Warriors scored all four of
their runs on Owl starter Carson Glavich. Kaden Melzer pitched the
final 3 1/3 innings, allowed only two hits, struck out three, got the
win. Eddie Gould got the loss. Horner finished 3-for-5 with a triple,
a double, and three RBI. Chase Elliott, Clay, Peyton Rickard, and
Isaac Bateman each had two hits for the Warriors. box

British Columbia 14, Eastern Oregon 8 at
La Grande, OR. Russell Young and Trent Lenihan hit solo home runs in
the top of the first inning. Aaron Marsh hit a grand slam home run in
the second inning. Kyle Yip
also hit a home run in the second inning. Marsh hit an RBI double in
the sixth inning, and David Draayers hit a sacrifice fly to put the
Thunderbirds up 13-2. The Mountaineers got one back in the bottom of
the sixth, but Trent Lenihan hit an RBI single in the top of the
seventh. The Thunderbirds were up 14-3, and it looked like this game
was headed for a run rule conclusion.
That didn’t happen.
Thunderbird starter Ryan Beitel was relieved in the bottom of the
seventh, after allowing two earned runs on five hits, and striking
out seven. The Mountaineers lit up two relievers, Kansai Sugimoto and
Kellen Bourne, for five runs, and the game continued. The
Thunderbirds brought in British National Team member Oliver Duthie,
and he kept the Mountaineers scoreless for the rest of the way; he
allowed three hits, struck out two.
Beitel got the win, and Danny
Burns got the loss. Marsh finished 4-for-5 with a home run, two
doubles, and five RBI. Young and Lenihan both finished 3-for-4, and
Young hit two doubles in addition to the home run. Mason Van Arsdall
went 3-for-4 with two RBI for the Mountaineers. box

British Columbia 19, Eastern Oregon 3. Halted
by the run rule after eight innings. This game was close for three
innings, but the Thunderbirds pulled away with five runs in the top
of the fourth inning, led by a three-run home run by Kellen Bourne.
Jonny McGill hit a two-run home run in the seventh. Bourne started a
seven-run eighth inning with another home run, which gave the
Thunderbirds the ten-run margin. They ran up the score with RBI
singles by Jackson Boomer and Jonny McGill, a two-RBI single by Aaron
Marsh, and a two-RBI double by Bourne.
Bourne finished 4-for-5 with two
home runs, a double, and seven RBI. Ryan Heppner pitched seven
innings for the Thunderbirds, allowed three runs on five hits, struck
