Albert Jennings had a monster day for Bushnell in their doubleheader against Simpson. In the opener, he belted two home runs and drove in 6 runs. He finished 2-for-5 in a heartbreaking 16-14 loss. His performance included a crucial 4-RBI homer in the 7th inning. Jennings wasn’t done yet—he homered again in the nightcap to deliver the game-winning hit for the Beacons.
Dylan Carson also put up big numbers for the Beacons in game one against Simpson. Carson hit 2 doubles, finishing with 3 hits and 2 RBI.
Northwest Nazarene dominated their series opener against Concordia Irvine 13-5. Three players powered the offensive explosion. Kaleb Karpstein went 4-for-5 with a double, 2 RBI, and 2 stolen bases.
