The opening day of July brought plenty of firepower to the West Coast League. Levi Sotomayor and Nick Velazquez of the Pippins combined for 8 hits, 3 home runs, and 12 RBI in a dominant showing. On the mound, Jeremiah Arnett and Cooper Strawn each delivered six strong innings with 9 and 8 strikeouts respectively, while several other pitchers turned in quality outings.
