Lewis-Clark State 7, British Columbia 1 (British Columbia eliminated). Carter Booth hit a home run in the top of the third inning just prior to the suspension of play due to rain. The Thunderbirds’ starter, Vicarte Domingo, was unable to continue (Warriors starter Decker Stedman couldn’t continue, either), so James Brock got the ball. He was greeted with a sacrifice fly by Jake Gish and an RBI double by Charlie Updegrave. The Thunderbirds missed a good chance to get those runs back in the bottom of the third; with Kaden Zarowny on third base, Trent Lenihan hit a ground ball, and was obviously safe at first, but was called out to end the inning. The Warriors added two runs on the top of the fourth on a home run by Bulla Ephan and an RBI single by Gish. The Thunderbirds got their only run in the bottom of the fifth on an RBI single by Zarowny, but they left the bases loaded. Courtesy runner Ike George scored a run for the Warriors in the top of the eighth when Magnum Hofstetter struck out, but the third strike was dropped. Thunderbird catcher Ardan Berg had trouble finding the ball, and his throw to first went into the outfield, allowing George to score. The Warriors completed the scoring with an RBI single by Brandon Cabrera in the top of the ninth.

Each team had seven hits. Jace Hanson, who took the mound after the suspension, got the win. He pitched 3 2/3 innings, allowed one run on three hits, struck out three, and walked four. Cameron Smith got a save; he pitched 3 1/3 innings, allowed no runs on three hits, struck out three. Domingo got the loss. Ryan Heppner, who missed most of the season with an injury, pitched the fifth through seventh innings, and retired every batter he faced. Gish finished 2-for-3 with two RBI. Zarowny and Lenihan both finished 2-for-4. recap

Bushnell 8, Lewis-Clark State 2 – Bushnell wins the championship. The Beacons got seven of their eight runs in the bottom of the seventh inning. It started with a grand slam home run by Jordan Wilson. Albert Jennings scored on a wild pitch, then Cade Crist hit a two-RBI double to complete the scoring.

The Warriors scored two runs in the first inning, on an RBI double by Nick Seamons, who then scored on a ground out by Dominic Signorelli. They didn’t score again the rest of the game. The only other run came from an RBI single by Daniel Furman in the bottom of the third. Max Chapman started for the Beacons, pitched four innings, allowed the two runs on six hits. Blake Stavros pitched the next 1 2/3 innings, allowed two hits. Trevor Hammond pitched the final 3 1/3 innings, allowed two hits, struck out two, and got the win. Zachary Ediger, who was charged with the baserunners that scored on the Wilson home run, got the loss. However, it was Landon Webb who gave up the home run and the other three runs in that inning. The Beacons out-hit the Warriors by only 11-10, and there were no errors or unearned runs. Wilson, Kyle Casperson, and Isaiah Hart each had two hits for the Beacons. Carter Booth finished 3-for-3 for the Warriors. recap from Bushnell site recap from L-C State site
